Converter for Air 2 Alternate Inflation Regulator

Hazard

An insufficient bond may cause a break in the converter coupling, which could impact the diver's ability to control buoyancy.

Remedy

Consumers who dive with an Air 2 Alternate Inflation Regulator on a NON-SCUBAPRO buoyancy compensator should immediately stop use and contact SCUBAPRO. They will be instructed to take their buoyancy compensator with the Air 2 intact to their authorized SCUBAPRO dealers for a free replacement.

Authorized SCUBAPRO dealers nationwide, from October 8, 2003 through August 30, 2004, for approximately $7.75 or included in the Air 2 package, beginning December 19, 2003 through August 30, 2004.

This alert is only for consumers who dive with an Air 2 Alternate Inflation Regulator on a NON-SCUBAPRO buoyancy compensator. Divers who use the Air 2 on a SCUBAPRO buoyancy compensator are not affected by this alert.
