Hazard

The wooden bench may collapse because not enough glue was used during assembly.

Remedy

Stop using the recalled benches immediately and contact your local Allen Organ dealer or call the Allen Organ Company Service Department for information on how to schedule an appointment to have your wooden organ bench repaired.

Reported Injuries

Four incidents have been reported, involving loose joints for the legs of the organ bench. No injuries have been reported.

Full Recall Description

The recalled wooden organ bench is sold primarily to churches and theaters as part of a package that also includes an organ, console, pedal board, and speaker cabinets. A very small number of the wooden organ benches were sold separately. The wooden organ bench measures 26 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 48 inches long. The benches are made of oak, red oak, and walnut colored wood.
